Condolences

Condolence From: Susie Hall
Condolence: Gerald was a great historian. His knowledge of Morocco and Newton County was amazing. I enjoyed the book projects I did with him because I always learned so much. He will be greatly missed. He was also a very kind and caring man.

Condolence: Gerald and his grandmother Were friends of my grandparents when Gerald was a young boy. The grandmothers would quilt while Gerald sat on the front porch with my grandfather and listened to stories of the early days of dredging and draining the Kankakee Marsh. He and his knowledge of Newton County were a treasure and will be missed by many.
