Obituary for Ruby D. "Darlene" Wilson (Clevinger)

Ruby D. "Darlene"  Wilson (Clevinger)
Ruby “Darlene” Wilson, 82, of Morocco, passed away at her home Tuesday, December 5, 2017. She was born in Rensselaer on April 6, 1935 to the late Harold and Ruby (Hansen) Clevinger. She graduated from Mount Ayr High School with the class of 1953.

On July 17, 1954, in Morocco, she married Dick Wilson. Darlene was a secretary for North Newton School Corporation for many years. She enjoyed reading, puzzle books, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Dick Wilson; three children: Dick Wilson (Carla Robinson), Mike Wilson, and Betty Wilson; one brother, Gene (Reba) Clevinger; one sister, Georgiana (Charlie) Roadruck; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, Harold Wesley Clevinger; and one sister, Flora Lynn Cavinder.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Wayne Williams officiating. Share memories and condolences online at www.SteinkeFuneralHome.com.
