Condolence: Rest in peace, Coach. You were my H.S. B. Ball Coach all four years - a lot of Great Memories. My Condolences to the Day family.

Condolence: I believe our mission on earth is to leave it a better place than we found it. I know Mr Day did that many times over. His life was an immeasurable service to those around him and his contributions continue to plant seeds of betterment.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Day’s passing. I have such fond memories of him. He was a wonderful person. My heart goes out to Marge and Pat.

Condolence: After hearing the news of Mr. Day, thoughts of sadness hit as I instantly remembered a great man who was always saying encouraging and well thought out words of leadership to me as a student and athlete while attending RCHS in the 80tys. Returning to Rensselaer to teach in 2004, I still had moments of kind greetings out an about when I saw him, but I especially enjoyed my time with his wife at RCMS where I often heard good ol' stories of Rensselaer's History and the fun times he and she had in their educational work. Mrs. Day, he will be greatly missed. Hugs from Tod and myself.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Day family, especially Mrs. Day and Pat. So sorry for your loss, but I am grateful for the wonderful memories we all had with Mr. Day. He shaped so many memories for me growing up being Pat's dad and seeing him at work with dad at the Middle School and High School almost every day. And I would have felt cheated if he hadn't read our names during graduation as only he did so well. His positive influence will surely be remembered by many, especially me. I wish you two and your family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
