Obituary for Donna Faye Morgan
Donna Faye Morgan, 86, of Morocco, passed away peacefully at her home early Monday morning, July 26, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born in Medaryville on August 15, 1934, the daughter of Lester R. Rayburn and Anna Mae (Warren) Rayburn. She was a graduate of Rensselaer High School and attended Valparaiso University. On July 27, 1952 she married Stanley Arthur Morgan. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1988.
Donna was the secretary at Shirer Insurance Agency for 37 years. She was a member of the United Church of Morocco and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #146. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children: Jean Marie Adams of Fowler, Terry Morgan (Sue Aksamit) of Phoenix, AZ, and Debra Clements (Dave) of Morocco; two brothers, Charles Rayburn (Opal) of Rensselaer and William Rayburn of Lafayette; one sister, Pat Rayburn (David) of Downers Grove, IL; sister-in-law Wanda Rayburn of Rensselaer; 7 grandchildren: April Adams and Carla Adams, both of West Lafayette, Ryan Morgan, Dustin Morgan and Jeffrey Morgan, all of Phoenix, AZ, Mike Clements (Chrissy) and Jamie Clements, both of Morocco; and 8 great-grandchildren: Kaden, Kailey, Brady, James, Colton, Adalynn, Morgan and Dean.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Bob Rayburn and Homer Rayburn; son-in-law Carl “Gomer” Adams; and grandson Brett Adams.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco with Pastor Patrick Gutwein officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
