Obituary for Frank Edwin "Frankie" Quasebarth Jr.
Frank Edwin Quasebarth, Jr., “Frankie”, age 55, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away September 26, 2019. He was born in Hammond, Indiana on October 31, 1963, son of the late Frank Edwin Quasebarth, Sr. and Mary Alice (Collins) Quasebarth.
Frankie was a lifelong member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 2 in Chicago, Illinois. He enjoyed working on mowers, cars, guns, and anything electronic. He was a beloved father, brother and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving family: three children: Amy Quasebarth, Megan (Jakob) Mersch and Aaron Quasebarth; one grandson, Brentlee Quasebarth; three sisters: Sherry (Steve) Sproles, Alice (Doug) Whitaker and Margaret (Tom) Kennedy; and his former wife, Ellen (Schutz) Quasebarth.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 2-6 p.m. (CDT) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 6 p.m. (CDT) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
