Obituary for Michael Morris Hipp Sr.
Michael Morris Hipp, Sr., 71, of Morocco, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at his son’s home in Morocco. He was born in Hammond on January 1, 1944, son of the late Lloyd Frederick Hipp, Sr. and Lorraine May (Verschueren) Hipp.
Mike served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a truck driver and drove his truck from coast to coast. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandkids.
Mike is survived by his loving family: children: John Suprenanat of Morocco, Tony Strachan (Melanie) of Boyd, Texas, Michael Morris Hipp, Jr. (Mary) of Kentland, and William Lloyd Hipp (Tracy) of Morocco; a sister, Claudia Wright of Chesterton; a brother, David Hipp of Crown Point; a sister-in-law, Sue Hipp of Portage; his ex-wife “Topper”; his best friend Danny Catlett; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sister Diane and her husband Frank; and two brothers, Bud and Larry.
