Obituary for Myra E. Davidson (Marshall)
Myra Elizabeth (Marshall) Davidson, 77, of Morocco, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her home. She was born May 8, 1945 to the late C. W. Marshall of Arkansas and Mary (Peevey) Printy of Morocco. She was educated in the public school system of Wynne, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Wynne High School in 1964. After high school she attended beauty school.
Her marriage was to the late Mark J. Davidson on February 26, 1967. She is survived by their two children, John (Becky) Davidson of Donovan, Illinois and Shelly Knight of Morocco, Indiana. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Kabrina, Krystal, Karley, Kamerin, Isaac and Leeanna; and three great-grandchildren: Gavin, Gideon and Jeptha. Additional survivors included Myra’s siblings: Jim (Nancy) Marshall of Missouri, Mike Marshall of Texas, and Kay Moss (Tom) Crumpler of Illinois; her aunt, Billie Sue Bingham of Florida; and a score of nieces.
Myra was a member of Projects Unlimited in Morocco and the United Church of Morocco. She was a 50-year member of Eastern Star. She was in the Morocco bowling league for years.
She loved spending time with her friends and family and all her grandchildren. Myra enjoyed gardening and canning, crafting, walking, and going to yard sales.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life service at the United Church of Morocco on January 28, 2023, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of the service at 11 a.m. Pastor Patrick Gutwein will be officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at 12 p.m. Flowers and donations may be sent to the United Church of Morocco, 104 College Ave., Morocco, IN 47963.
