Obituary for Tammy DuRee Hall

Tammy DuRee Hall, 60, of Lebanon, Indiana, formerly of Rensselaer, passed away Friday evening, June 25, 2021 at Witham Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born in Rensselaer on June 25, 1961, the daughter of June (Yoder) Hall and the late Charles O’Dell Hall. She was a graduate of South Newton High School.

Family was everything to Tammy. She loved family gatherings at holidays and reunions, gathering around the campfire, and spending time with her precious grandkids. She enjoyed being her mother’s sidekick delivering vending supplies to DeMotte, attending yard sales, and watching her grandson Drew’s motocross races. She enjoyed playing games, especially dice, and she loved to win!

Tammy loved the Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible. She was a member of Victorious Life Assembly of God.

Tammy is survived by her mother, June Hall of Goodland; five children: Celena (Tony) Scott of Lebanon, Sara Hubbard of Alabama, Gerald Hubbard, Travis Hubbard, and Jason (Savannah) Hubbard, all of Rensselaer; two brothers, Larry Hall of Goodland and Jason (Teona) Hall of Brook; one sister, Stacey (James) Ingram of Goodland; and ten grandchildren: Drew, Kearra, Chrisney, Savannah, Lillian, Chloe, Zachary, Dominique, Silas, and Aiden.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles O’Dell Hall; one brother, Charles Denzil Hall; and her long-time companion, Pia.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. (Central Time) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 12 p.m. (Central Time) with Pastor Melvin Lane officiating. Interment will be at Burr Oak Cemetery.
