Viola Elizabeth Miller, 87, of Morocco, IN, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Rensselaer Care Center. She was born June 30, 1927 in Salem, Kentucky.

Preceded in death by her husband, Douglas R. Miller, (Morocco); father, Ules Harris; mother, Valada (Shoecraft) Harris, Estelle (Agent) Harris; son, Bobbie Joe Miller; brothers, Leon Harris (baby), Henery (Buddy) Harris; sisters, Leona (Davis) Belt, Emma Lou (Belt) Williams; step-brother Tommy Agent; step-sister Shirley Agent Hackney; and daughter-law, Janet (Bobbie) Miller.

Viola was a homemaker, previously working at Dormeyers, Permonite, Allen's IGA in the bakery/deli, and a quilter. She was a member of the Morocco Assembly of God.

Survived by five children; sons, Billie J. (Roxie), Donald (Deb); daughters, Bonita Pratt (Ronald), Janice Woodke (Robert), Patricia Olive (Danny Joe).

She was blessed with 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren, which she loved dearly.

She is survived by brothers and sisters, Robert Harris (Margie), Tommy (Ruthie), Billy (Karen), Denny (Jan), Evelyn Ornduff (Randal), Faye Baker (Bill), Erma Springs (Norman), C.L. Agent, Jerry Agent, Tommy Agent, Carolyn Agent, and Shirley Hackney.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. (CDT), Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Steinke Funeral Home, Morocco, IN, 101 East Beaver Street. Visitation will be there from 4-8 p.m. (CDT) on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
