Allen Pirlot

ALLEN W. PIRLOT, 59 of rural Rensselaer passed away at his residence Monday afternoon, November 1, 2010. Allen was born in Gary on September 24, 1951, son of the late Walter and Marie (Truth) Pirlot. Allen was a 1970 graduate of Rensselaer High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. On July 30, 1999 in Rensselaer he married Janet Hall. She survives. Allen was a Correctional Officer at the Jasper County Community Corrections. Surviving with his wife are two sons, Seth Pirlot and Devin Pirlot, both of Indianapolis; grandson, Corbin Pirlot of Indianapolis; two sisters, Marie (Mrs. Richard) Binkley of Marion, KY, and Sandy Black of Brook; and two brothers, Dave (wife: Sharon) Pirlot of Rensselaer, Chuck (wife: Laura) Eslinger of Burnettsville. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Welsh Cemetery in rural Rensselaer, Rev. Marge Egger officiating. Memorials in Allen’s memory are suggested to the Jasper County Hospice.
