Andrew Richard Hall

Andrew Richard “Andy” Hall, 31, of DeMotte, formerly of Bluff City, TN passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019. He was born in Rensselaer on April 18, 1988, the son of Richard Lee “Rick” Hall and Lori Jane (Prohosky) Mattos. He attended school at Rensselaer Central. On June 24, 2016, in Elizabethton, TN, he married Rachel Meggan Toppen. He was affiliated with Tri-County Bible Church of Rensselaer.

Andy was a self-employed auto detailer. He loved anything with wheels: cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs. He enjoyed listening to music, deer hunting and fishing. He cherished spending time with his kids and farming with his Grandpa Ed.

Andy is survived by his wife, Rachel Hall; three step-children: Brayden, Alex and Meghan; father Rick Hall; mother Lori (Troy) Mattos; one sister, Amber (Jesse) Rayburn; paternal grandfather, Bob Hall; maternal grandparents, Ed and Daneeta Prohosky; two uncles, Rob (Shelly) Hall and Ryan (Erica) Hall; one aunt, Beth (Mike) Hunter; two nephews, Sawyer and Asher; and eight cousins: Lacey, Ethan, Justin, Ashley, Summer, Kaia, Tatum and Emory.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Judy Hall.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 5 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer with Pastor Brian Hannon officiating. The family requests everyone wears casual attire. Interment will be at a later date. Memorials can be made to the family or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
