Anna Mae Blount

Anna Mae Blount, 73, of Morocco, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 19, 1942, daughter of the late John and Iola (Lever) Meyer. On August 22, 1958, in Chicago, she married her husband of 57 years, Leroy J. Blount. Anna and Leroy lived in Chicago until moving to Morocco 12 years ago. Anna was a homemaker who enjoyed growing African violets, knitting and crocheting.

Anna is survived by: her husband, Leroy Blount; two sons, John Alan (Lauri) Blount and William Blount; one daughter, Beth Ann (John) Kreger; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; three brothers; one sister; and one son, Leroy, Jr.
