Bill Wynn, 67, of Morocco, IN passed away peacefully at his home on February 3, 2026. He was born on June 22, 1958 in Rensselaer, IN.
Bill graduated from North Newton High School in 1976. He worked diligently as a freight dispatcher at Denver International Airport for several years. Beyond his career, Bill was an enthusiastic sports fan, with a particular passion for watching the Olympic Games.
A valued member of the Sons of the American Legion, Bill embraced the organization's commitment to service and support. Throughout his life, he faced considerable challenges, particularly battling mental illness in the later years, yet he remained a steadfast presence for those around him.
Bill is survived by his loving siblings; sisters Marcia Porter and Judy Kosta, and brother Dale Wynn. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Wynn; mother, Carolyn (Bowers) Wynn; brother-in-law, William Porter; and sister-in-law, Nancy Wynn.
Per Bill’s wishes, he will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery and there will be no services. Steinke Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements.
