Charles L Gilmore

Charles L. Gilmore, 82, of Rensselaer, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born July 21, 1935 to Raymond and Mary (Warran) Gilmore.

In June of 1954 he married Roberta Joan Crawford. A son, Gary, was born to them. Joan passed away May 13, 2007. On April 22, 2012 he married Lois Henry.

Charles is survived by: wife Lois; son Gary Gilmore (Suzanne); grandson Chris (Rayann) Gilmore; granddaughter Stephanie (Chris) Miller; great-grandson Andrew James Miller; great-granddaughter Aleah Marie Miller; and sister Dorothy West of Loganville, Georgia.

Charles was preceded in death by: his parents; and his first wife Joan.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (CDT) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Warran officiating. Burial will take place in Fair Oaks Cemetery. Steinke Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
