Cheryl Ann Bulington

Cheryl Ann Bulington, 59, of Rensselaer, IN passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2025 at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. She was born in Sheldon, IL on April 27, 1965, the daughter of Ora and Ruth Ann (Bowen) Whiteman.

She was a 1983 graduate of South Newton High School. On June 22, 2005, in Rensselaer, she married James D. Bulington. Cheryl was a bus driver and teacher for Head Start. She was a member of the Rensselaer Moose Lodge.

She is survived by her loving husband, James D. Bulington; four children: Brock Whiteman, Britney Whiteman, Jason (Melissa) Butler, and Branden Whiteman; two brothers, Jeff (Michelle) Whiteman and Richard (Jill) Whiteman; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family is planning a celebration of Cheryl’s life for a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cheryl’s name may be made to the Rensselaer Moose Lodge.
