Clifford Riley

CLIFFORD C. RILEY, age 63 of rural Morocco passed away at his home November 5, 2010. Clifford was born in Watseka, IL on July 23, 1947, son of the late John P. and Myrtle (Wesner) Riley. Clifford had lived in the Morocco area since 1957 and graduated from the Morocco High School in 1965. He was an Army Veteran. On July 11, 1987 he married Sandra Kros in Lake Village and she survives. Clifford worked 16 years for Newton County Government in Building Maintenance. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion, both in Morocco. Surviving with his wife, is a son, Neil J. Riley at home. 2 brothers survive, James and David Riley, both of Morocco. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Phillip Riley and a sister, Gayle Warne. Friends may call Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Morocco Community Center. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, 203 S. Clay Street, Morocco with Rev. Greg Waggoner officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Steinke Funeral Home Brunton Chapel is handling the arrangements.
