Clifford Russell

Clifford G. Russell, age 66 of the Morocco - Roselawn area passed away November 17, 2009 as a result of an auto accident at the intersection of hwy 41 & 114 in Newton County. He was born August 3, 1943 in Rensselaer a son of the late Earl and Anita (Langley) Russell. Cliff graduated from Morocco High School in 1961 and had lived his entire life in the Newton County area. Prior to his retirement earlier this year he was a cook at Flying J Truck Stop. He had previously been a cook at Merchant’s and the Willow Inn. Surviving is a brother, Paul W. (Rose) Russell of Connecticut and three nephews and niece; Ron Brownfield of Morocco, Larry (Debbie) Brownfield of Wheatfield, Bobbie (Novesa) Russell and Susan Russell both of Rhode Island. Preceding him in death were his parents and 2 sisters. Family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 2 until 4:00 P.M. at Steinke Funeral Home Brunton Chapel in Morocco.

Cremation has been chosen by his family.
