Corey Mikael Sanders

Corey Mikael Sanders, 25, of Rensselaer, Indiana unexpectedly passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born October 23, 1997, in Rensselaer.

Corey was a 2016 graduate of Hebron High School. He attended the Rensselaer Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed disc golf and had recently joined the PDGA. He was a big Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed watching and playing sports with his friends.

He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Patricia Sanders of Lowell, IN and Danielle Magers of Rensselaer, IN; one sister, Camryn Sanders of Lafayette, IN; three brothers: Collin Crews, Christian Crews and Clint Conley, Jr., all of Rensselaer, IN; grandparents: Ron and Sherrie Sanders of Remington, IN, Gloria J. Henson of Rensselaer, IN, and Robert and Komkham Eberle of Florida. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 3 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Pastor Lisa Ulrich officiating. A meal will be hosted at the Rensselaer Church of the Nazarene, 210 S. McKinley Avenue, Rensselaer, immediately following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rensselaer Church of the Nazarene.
