David Allen Misiora

David Allen Misiora, 53, of Rockville, Indiana, formerly of Morocco, Indiana passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. Dave was born in East Chicago, Indiana on February 25, 1964, the son of John C. Misiora, Sr. and Judith L. (Fleming) Misiora. He graduated from North Newton High School with the Class of 1982. On June 6, 1992, in Rensselaer, Indiana, he married the love of his life, Luann Harrington.

Dave owned and operated his own bait and tackle shop in Rockville, D & L Sporting Goods. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was always willing to help anyone in need and would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his three Jack Russell Terriers: Petie, Pepper and Gizmo.

Dave is survived by his loving family: wife Luann Misiora; son Jonathon D. (Piper) Misiora; four grandchildren: Jonathon, Gloriana, Tykus and Odin Misiora; his parents, John Misiora, Sr. and Judith Misiora; two brothers, John (Karen) Misiora, Jr. and Leon (Kathy) Misiora; and three sisters: Julie (Dick) Stahl, Janie (Brian) Michael and Joanie (Troy) Piatt.

Friends are invited to visit with the family Friday, November 24, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. (CST) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 at 1 p.m. (CST) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer with David Vanaman officiating.
