Deanna Sue Bright

Deanna Sue Bright, 82, of Rensselaer, IN passed away at her home on Tuesday evening, August 29, 2023. She was born in Somerville, IN on April 2, 1941, the daughter of Gerald Bowman and Pauline (Ahlemann) Bowman. She was a 1959 graduate of Central High School in Evansville, IN. Her marriage was to Larry Donovan Bright, who survives.

Deanna was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Hammond, IN. She was a sweet lady who enjoyed helping others. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Bright; her son, Randy Bright, Sr. (Paula Straka); three step-children: Mark Bright, Tammy Bright and Tracy Bright; two grandsons, Randy Bright, Jr. and Paul Randall Bright; and two sisters-in-law, Becky Bowman and Janice Bowman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Eddie Bowman, Charlie Bowman and Johnny Bowman.

The family is planning a celebration of life for Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Burdette Park, Bishea Building, 5301 Nurrenbern Rd., Evansville, IN 47712.
