Delores Romine

Delores G. Romine, age 88, of Newton County passed away April 21, 2009 at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village in DeMotte, IN. She was born July 21, 1920 in Winamac, IN, a daughter of the late Mamie and Metta (Shriner) Baker. She was educated at the Fair Oaks Public Schools and worked serveral years at Goldblat's Department Store in Chicago. On Sept. 15, 1951 in Rensselaer, she married Leon E. Romine. He died December 23, 1986. Delores loved to watch the birds and enjoyed driving around the countryside in her car. Her loving family and many friends are missing her very much.
