Delores Mae Stock

Delores Stock, age 76, of Morocco passed away Wednesday November 17th at the Rensselaer Care Center. She was born December 22, 1944 to Albert Yoder and Lillian (Kissinger) Yoder.

Delores lived most her life in the Newton county area and graduated from North Newton High School. She went on to attend Ivy Tech Nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and work at both Jasper County Hospital and George Ade Hospital. Later she worked for Union Carbide/Viscase in the production department.

Delores raised three sons: Konrad “Tony” (Cherie) Stock, Stephen Stock, and Dean (Ellen) Stock who survive. She enjoyed many hobbies including, cross stitching, Crossword puzzles, Jigsaw puzzles and gardening. Along with her three sons she is survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Stephen Stock, a brother Harold Yoder and a sister Harriet Bourelle.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday November 23 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST at the Steinke Funeral Home in Rensselaer. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Pastor Melvin Lane officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Burr Oak Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
