Dorothy Brunton

Dorothy J. Brunton, 91 of Morocco, Indiana passed away at Jasper County Hospital in Rensselaer, Thursday, May 20, 2010. Dorothy was born January 1, 1919 in Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry R. and Clara (Foukes) Robinson. She was a lifetime Newton County resident and graduated from Lowell High School. On July 31, 1937 in Morocco she married Harry A. Brunton. He died May 22, 1993. She was a member of the United Church of Morocco. Dorothy was a homemaker and her greatest joy was being with her family and cooking for family and friends. Surviving are son, Richard Brunton (wife, Rosemarie) of Morocco and daughter, Judy Keppner of Plainfield, IL. A brother, Harold Robinson (wife, Margie) of Grass Valley, CA and sister, Margie Pritchett of Hobart, IN. survives. Also surviving are, 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Family suggests memorials to Morocco Public Library. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Steinke Funeral Home Brunton Chapel in Morocco. Rev. Thomas Vance and Rein Bontreger will officiate. Interment is at Oakland Cemetery in Morocco.
