DOROTHY M. WILSON, age 84 of Monon, passed away early Monday morning, July 20, 2009 in Lafayette. She was born December 30, 1924 in Battleground, Indiana, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Pattengale) Sterrett. She had lived in Carroll and White Counties most of her life and graduated from Delphi High School. She was married to Woodrow T. Wilson. He preceded her in death in August of 1982. Dorothy was Owner/operator of Monon Dry Cleaners from 1964 through 1973, and then was a clerk at Querry Pharmacy in Monon for over 20 years. She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Monon Chamber of Commerce. Surviving are daughters, Marlene G. Bilek of Rensselaer and Lou Ann Wilson of West Lafayette; sisters, Nina Sanderson of Indianapolis and Thelma Hodges of Delphi; grandsons, Todd Robert (Rhonda) Bilek of Monticello and Troy Douglas (Terra) Bilek, great grandchildren, Brittney Bilek and Brandon Bilek all of South Carolina. Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents, husband, a son, Robert Earl Molher and brother, Donald Sterrett. Friends may call at the Monon United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 23rd from 11 until 1 P.M. (Monon time) with funeral services at 1 P.M. Pastor Russ Alley officiating. Interment follows at Pretty Prairie Cemetery near Battleground, Indiana. Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer is handling the funeral arrangements.
