Duanna Manns

Duanna Lynn Manns, age 42, of rural Jasper County passed away at her home Saturday, January 21, 2012. Duanna was born in Hammond, Indiana, October 5, 1969, daughter of Duane Pfeifer and Carol Albright.

Duanna married Marvin Manns in September 1997 in Rensselaer and he survives. She was a homemaker and had three children. She had lived in the area since 1987.

Duanna is survived by her husband Marvin and three children: Austin, Tierra, and Zackery, all at home. Also surviving is her mother Carol Albright (Frank) of DeMotte; father Duane Pfeifer (Shirley) of Oklahoma; three sisters: Lisa Ewen (husband Larry) of Wolcott, Kim Pfeifer of Rensselaer, and Sheree McNeal (husband Cecil) of Rensselaer; step-sister Stacy Lambert (husband Chris) of Roselawn; and step-brother Frankie Albright (wife Cassie) of Roselawn. Marvin's brother Ricky Manns (wife Char), and sisters Rita Koebcke and Tiffany Gill, and mother Cleo Gill, all of Rensselaer, also survive, as well as 14 nieces and nephews.

Duanna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Denver and Willie Freeman and O.W. Pfeifer.

Friends may call on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Steinke Funeral Home in Rensselaer. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Gann officiating. Interment will follow at Weston Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family.
