Etta Marie Bock

Etta Marie Bock, 94, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the Rensselaer Care Center. She was born on June 4, 1925, in Beatrice, Nebraska, to John and Amanda (Fossley) Rademacher. She grew up in Nebraska and attended the Beatrice Public Schools. She had been a resident of Rensselaer since 1993, having moved here from Calumet City, Illinois.

On August 21, 1943, in Beatrice, Nebraska she married Herbert C. Bock. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2002. Etta was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one son, Wayne (Sue) Bock, of Oak Forest, Illinois; one son-in-law, Mark (Renee) Frye of Rensselaer, Indiana; one daughter-in-law, Tina Bock of Calumet City, Illinois; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Bock; son Paul Bock; daughter Lynn Clark; her parents; and her siblings.

Due to the current pandemic, private family services will be held. Burial will be at Weston Cemetery in Rensselaer.
