Gabriel Garcia

Gabriel Lee Garcia, 35, of Rensselaer, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 17, 2013. He was born in Rensselaer on February 16, 1977, son of Charles J. Garcia and Myra (Goad) Carroll. He attended school in Rensselaer and was a lifelong area resident. He worked for American Melt Blown and Filtration Co. in Rensselaer and he also worked in construction. He enjoyed hunting and computers.

Gabriel is survived by his three sons: Kaleb Sanders, Skylar Sanders and Tray Sanders, all of Brook; father Charles Garcia of Rensselaer; mother Myra Carroll (Douglas) of Rensselaer; two sisters, Kim Welsh (David) of Goodland and Michelle Percy of Fox Lake, Illinois; and a brother, Joseph Garcia (Lori) of Whitestown, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Friends may call on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Father David Hellmann officiating.
