Glenlyne Helen Nuss

Glenlyne Helen Nuss, 76, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at George Ade Memorial Healthcare Center in Brook. She was born September 20, 1942, in Waterloo, Iowa to Glenn and Geraldine (Andrews) Titus. On November 13, 1959, in Mesa, Arizona she married Frank Nuss, Jr.

Glenlyne worked in housekeeping at Jasper County Hospital, the Jasper County Community Center, and the Monticello Healthcare Center, retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Faith Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia, shopping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frank Nuss, Jr. of Rensselaer; four sons: Kevin (Tammy) Nuss, Stoney (Patty) Nuss, Nathan (Marie) Nuss, and Steve (Tammy) Nuss; one daughter, Julie Nuss (Brian Whitaker); one brother, George (Debbie) Titus; one sister, Marlys Titus; 16 grandchildren: Dylan (Treasure) Nuss, Travis (Jordyn) Nuss, Ryan Nuss, Shane Nuss, Colton Nuss, Troy Nuss, Tyler Whitaker, Brad Nuss, Amy Nuss, Karnae (Kyle) Whisker, Kayla Longstreth, Tonya Nuss, Lindsey Bragg, Emma Whitaker, Brooke (Daniel) King, and Natasha Nuss; 19 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by: her son Rodney “Rod” Nuss; parents Glenn and Geraldine Titus; granddaughter Vanessa Nuss; and great-grandson Kaile Shanley.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. CST at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. CST at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Pastor Mark Warran officiating. Interment will follow at Prater Cemetery.
