Helen Weiser

Helen M. Weiser, age 88 of Rensselaer passed away at her home on April 22, 2009. She was born Sept. 12, 1920 in Cadillac, MI, a daughter of the late Howard L. and Edith (Chesebro) DePew. She was a 1938 graduate of Cadillac High School and attended business college before beginning employment with the Government in Civil Service. A job she held for many years, living in several states as well as in Germany. For the last 30 years of her working career she spent as a secretary for the Patent Law Office at Upjohn Pharmaceutical Co. at Kalamazoo, MI, retiring in 1982. She was affiliated with the Lutheran Church and in earlier years was active in the VFW and American Legion Auxillaries.
