Howard F. Purdy

Howard F. Purdy, 87, of Beaverville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday January 5, 2016. He was born in Beaverville on November 21, 1928 to the late Roy and Laura Purdy.

On November 19, 1947 he married Ruby Mae Wooten. Howard was a farmer and raised livestock. He also worked for many years at Permonite Manufacturing. In his pastime he enjoyed being a mechanic, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Howard is survived by his loving children: Donna Brown (Randal) and Scott Purdy; niece Carolyn Mathew (Steve Roberts); sisters: Marge Anderson and Grace Kennedy; eight Grandchildren; eleven Great-Grandchildren; and three Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents, one sister and two brothers.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. CST at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 4 p.m with Pastor Wayne Williams officiating.
