Jack Mingear

Jack Mingear, age 85, of Rensselaer, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008. He was born in Dexter, MO, she son of the late Charles Curtis and Laura (Holifield) Mingear. He was educated at the Remington Schools and had been a resident of Rensselaer for 55 years. He was married to Edith "Butch" Latta. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1279. He attended the First Christian Church of Rensselaer and was been employed at the Rensselaer Park Department for over 17 years. Jack really enjoyed cars, horses and loved to sing and play his guitar.
