Jack L. Willier, born on January 8, 1934, in Quinlan, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at George Ade Memorial Health Care Center in Brook, Indiana. He lived a life dedicated to service and community, showcasing his talents in numerous roles throughout his career.

Jack's professional journey began as a police officer in Texas, where he contributed to the safety and well-being of his community. His adventurous spirit then led him to become a long-haul, over-the-road truck driver, allowing him to explore the vast stretches of America. For an impressive 27 years, he was the proud owner-operator of the Morocco Car Wash & Gas Station on Polk Street, a cornerstone establishment in the community. Jack cherished the camaraderie and vibrant conversations with the morning coffee crowd, where his quick wit and love for humor made every visit memorable.

Jack was known for being a jokester, with a unique ability to "pull people's chain" that endeared him to many. His spirited personality, combined with his love for horses, tractors, and cutting hay, brought joy to those around him, especially during summer days spent tending to his fields.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Willier, of Morocco, Indiana, and his four children: Brad Willier of Wyoming, Twyla Clutter of Texas, Jack Brent Willier of Texas, and Barry Willier and his girlfriend Kathy of South Dakota. Jack's legacy continues through numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his humor and warmth.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Noble Willier; his mother, Anna (Parker) Conklin; and siblings Mary Lou, Doris, Peggy, and Glenn.

In accordance with Jack's wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no formal services. His spirit, however, will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Steinke Funeral Home is honored to be handling the cremation arrangements.
