Jeffrey Lomax

Jeffrey L. Lomax, age 52 of rural Remington passed away Monday evening, July 6, 2009 at his home losing his battle with cancer. He was born March 23, 1957 a son of the late Robert J. and Donna J Hamer Lomax. He was a lifetime area resident, graduating from Rensselaer High School in 1976. He had been employed at Sealy Spring in production for over 25 years, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. On August 30, 2003 in Remington, he married Betty Marie Clark Lomax, and she survives. Surviving with his wife are his children, Aaron Lomax of San Diego, Calif., Tim Lomax (Kara) of Norfolk, VA, and Emily Lomax, Lucas Lomax and Abagail Lomax, all of Remington; and a brother, Michael "Mile" G. Lomax (Judy) of Hammond. 2 grandsons also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother. Jeff was an avid football fan and Old Car Buff. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
