Judith Diane Rebollo

Judith Diane Rebollo, 79, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 9, 1941, the daughter of William Robert Gibbs, Sr. and Margaret Joyce (Barlet) Gibbs. She was a graduate of Hebron High School. On May 11, 1986, she married Thomas Rebollo in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death in 2002. She spent many years living in DeMotte prior to moving to Rensselaer 20 years ago.

Judy was a designer of crystal creations and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of VFW Post #1279, American Legion Post #29, and Women of the Moose Chapter 804.

She is survived by one daughter, Diana Lynne (Bob) Tiede; one son, Danny Todd Marshall; one brother, Gary Gibbs; two sisters, Gayle (Stanley) Fryzel and Pamela (David) Peterson; 7 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Thomas (Helen) Gibbs and William (Helene) Gibbs; and her companion, Donnie Bricker.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. (CDT) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rick Fay officiating. Private burial will be at Hebron Cemetery. Contributions in Judy’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
