Julie May Alenduff

Julie May Alenduff, at the spicy age of 65, after a relentless fight made her way to heaven on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 surrounded by the people she loved the most. This spitfire was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on September 18, 1958. She was the oldest daughter of Larry and Judy (Cady) Bingham. Julie was a 1976 graduate of North Newton High School.

No matter the shift or the hours you could find her working ambitiously through her dedicated careers. Viskase Corporation, Newton County Clerk, Newton County Recorder; various jobs at the Newton County Courthouse and The Republican Party. Julie was actively famous in her small town. She was a proud member of the Morocco American Legion Post #146 Auxiliary and the Legion’s Post 100 membership where she was an active winner.

Julie was a supportive mother and grandmother, especially when it came to going to everyone’s ball games. She always loved a good time, especially her social gatherings in her garage or front porch. Julie was a familiar face to most but was a homebody at heart. She didn’t need much to be happy.

The people who are inspired by her ambition are her two sons, Jason (Hannele) Bertram and Trent Alenduff; three grandchildren: Erich, Beatrix and Nolan; her brother Rick (Jodi) Bingham; her sister Debbie (Dave) Miller; two nieces, Devin (Doug) Green and Deena Eastwold; one nephew, Brent Bingham; and three great-nieces: Gracie, Livie, and Eva.

Her loved ones who left before her are her parents, Larry and Judy Bingham, and her grandparents, Donald and Juanita Cady.

Friends are invited to come honor Julie with the family on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. A Celebration of Life with a toast will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
