Katherine J. Holder

Katherine J. Holder, 77, of Brook, IN passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. She was born in Rensselaer, IN on May 8, 1945, the daughter of Lloyd and Mary (McCoy) Hilton. She attended the South Barkley Public Schools. Katherine worked as a cook and waitress at Trail Tree for 20 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and she was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her three children: Ray Lockard of Texas, Scott Lockard, Sr. of Otterbein, IN and Debra (Ed) Cornwell of Brook, IN; 11 grandchildren: Jeremy, Brittany, Brandy, Talon, Scottie, Eddie, Mary, Naomi, Stefannie, Jenny and Tama; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandson, Xavier Yona Plumb.

Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral at 12 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home, 403 N. Front St., Rensselaer, IN. Pastor Delmas Conley officiating.
