Kerry Kosta

KERRY J. KOSTA, 59, a lifelong Parr resident, died at 11:02 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Jasper County Hospital. He had been ill for the past two years.

Born Aug. 29, 1950, in Rensselaer, he was the son of Paul Kosta of Rensselaer and the late Madylon Kosta. He graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1968.

Mr. Kosta had worked for A. Metz and Reith Riley as a truck driver.

He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 142 and the American Legion of Rensselaer and Merrillville. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball and golf, and spending time with friends.

Surviving is a brother, Michael Kosta (wife: Mary Beth) of Rensselaer.

Services Tuesday in Rensselaer.
