Kevin Wayne Magill

Kevin Wayne Magill, 57, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. He was born in Gary, Indiana on August 17, 1963, son of the late Cecil L. Magill and Nettie Lou (VanMatre) Magill.

On February 25, 1989, in Rensselaer, he married Carol Pattengale.

Kevin was a mechanic and loved hot rods, race cars and car shows. He enjoyed grilling out and spending time with friends and family. He was a former member of the Freemasons.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Magill; three children: Chris (Melissa) Peck, Erika (Nate) Ault, and Billy (Miranda) Peck; and one brother, Jim Magill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenny Magill; sister-in-law, Becky Magill; and twin siblings who died at birth.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. (Central Time) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 4 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Ramsey officiating. Private graveside services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Weston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
