Larry Dean Ropp

Larry Dean Ropp, 73, a lifelong resident of Rensselaer, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Rensselaer Care Center. He was born in Lafayette on December 6, 1944, the son of Lawrence H. Ropp and Esther M. (Simonin) Ropp.

He was a graduate of Fair Oaks High School and went on to study business at Saint Joseph’s College, graduating in 1969.

Larry was the parts manager for Brooks Motor Sales and Heuring Ford Lincoln Mercury in Rensselaer for many years. He enjoyed traveling and fishing.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Ropp. Preceded in death by his parents.
