Linda Louise (Kennedy) Patton Gaffield was born to John C. Kennedy and Grace (Purdy) Kennedy on December 4, 1943.
In January, 1967 she married Pearl Patton. He preceded her in death in February, 1970. Upon that marriage, son Coy (wife Kama) Patton was born.
On October 6, 1973, she married John Gaffield. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1992. Upon that marriage, a daughter was born, Cindy (husband Tom).
In addition to her children, she is survived by her companion, Meryle Patzschke; siblings: John (Rita) Kennedy of Augusta, GA, Sam (Betty) Kennedy of Morocco, IN and Charles (Mary) Kennedy of Morocco, IN. Also surviving are three grandsons: Zack, Nate and Steven; one granddaughter, Vanessa; three great-grandchildren: Addie, Mabel and Everett; and three step-grandchildren: Cole, Stephanie and Steven.
Linda enjoyed watching NASCAR, wrestling, playing games on the computer, Bunco, Bingo, word search, planting flowers, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Rex, her cat, was the charm of her life.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 2-6 p.m. (Central Time) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco on Monday, June 23, 2025 at noon (Central Time), with Pastor Joshua Cowan officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Morocco.
