Mike Williams

William M. “Mike” Williams, 53, of Morocco, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012, at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point. He was born in Mechanicville, New York on September 4, 1959, son of the late William and Shirley (Thompson) Williams.

On November 5, 1988, in North Adams, Massachusetts, Mike married Kathy-Lynn Filiault. Mike worked in concrete construction and he enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, and going to auctions.

Mike is survived by his wife Kathy-Lynn Williams of Morocco; four children, Heather Partridge (James Psycko) of North Carolina, Karen Maki (John Scheidt) of Morocco, Sandy-Lynn (Terry) Tillie of Australia, Crystal (Steve) Gordon of Morocco, and Robert (Jennifer) Dunn of Milton, FL; three sisters, Bonnie (Paul) Callahan and Jackie Ronda of Mechanicville, NY, and Beatrice “Bebe” Whitney of Arizona; and twelve grandchildren. Mike also has one great grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Timothy Williams.

Per Mike's wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service for Mike will be held on Saturday evening, January 5, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. (CST) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer, with Pastor Kent Dale officiating. Donations in Mike’s memory are suggested to the charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
