Nancy A. Wynn

Nancy A. Wynn, 73, of Morocco, IN passed away at her home on Thursday, September 19, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on November 13, 1950, in Rensselaer, IN to the late Thomas and Almedia (Lindahl) Deardurff.

She graduated from North Newton High School with the Class of 1969. She married her high school sweetheart, Dale Wynn, on December 12, 1970. They shared 53 years together before her passing.

Nancy was a beautician for almost 50 years. She always had a passion for cutting hair, as her dad was a barber. She never met a stranger and formed many relationships during her career as a beautician.

Nancy was a naturally artistic person, who enjoyed making jewelry, painting ceramics, and making amazing cakes for everything from birthdays to weddings. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandkids and family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Wynn of Morocco, IN; her son, Christopher (Anna) Wynn of Lake Village, IN; her sister, Sandra Lowry of Rensselaer, IN; two brothers, Doug (JaLeen) Deardurff of Rensselaer, IN and Brian Deardurff of Illinois; and her grandchildren, Alexis Wynn and Zackery Severs, both of Lake Village, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family is planning a celebration of Nancy’s life for a later date. Contributions in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
