Nora Studer

Nora Belle Studer, 100, of St. Cloud, Florida, formerly of Morocco, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at Southern Oaks Health Care Center in St. Cloud.


Nora was a homemaker and a foster mother to many children for many years. She was born March 13, 1912 in Morocco, the daughter of Florence and Elmer Denton.


She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Lolita Studer of Momence, IL; two grandsons, Richard (Rhonda) Studer of Davenport, FL and Steven (Donna) Studer of Momence, IL; three granddaughters, Barbara (Donnie) Pittman of Davenport, FL, Nora Ann Bohn of Dundee, FL, Dawn (Brad) Boudreau of St. Anne, IL, nine great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.


Her husband, Theodore Studer whom she married on March 16, 1928 in the Presbyterian Church in Morocco, died September 30, 2000. Nora was also preceded in death by four sons, Elvin, Alfred (Butch), Herbert and Clayton; one great-granddaughter, Lindsay Studer; one great-grandson, Alan Boudreau; one sister, Jessie Richardson; and six brothers, Lloyd, Emmet, Roy, Lester, Basil and Raymond Denton.


Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Friday, May 4, 2012 at Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd., Kissimmee, FL. Graveside services will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Morocco on Saturday May 12th at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Greg Waggoner officiating. See also: www.fiskfh.com.
