Paula Kay Luttrell

Paula Kay Luttrell, 65, of Austin, Indiana, passed away at her home on February 25, 2017. She was born in Seymour, Indiana on January 23, 1952, the daughter of John and Madeline (Amos) Fitch. She graduated from nursing school in Kentucky on June 30, 1989.

On September 10, 2004, in Winamac, she married David B. Luttrell. She was a nurse at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville, Indiana, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed fishing and watching sports. She was an avid NASCAR fan and Kasey Kahne was her favorite driver. She also enjoyed watching baseball and football, her favorite teams being the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Paula is survived by her loving husband, David B. Luttrell; two children, Angela Hibbit and Steve (Tiffiny) Johnson; five step-children: David Luttrell, Jr., Val (John) Green, Joshua (Alysha) Luttrell, Brandy Luttrell, and Nicholas Luttrell; three brothers: Richard (Sherri) Fitch, Bill Fitch, and John T. Fitch; one sister, Jane (Mike) Jacobs; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, John and Madeline Fitch; and two brothers, Danny Arnold and Patrick Fitch.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. (CST) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. (CST) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer with Rev. Brent Smith officiating.
