Phyllis Ann Brees

Phyllis Ann Brees, 94, of Kentland, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at George Ade Memorial Health Care Center in Brook. She was born May 29, 1926, daughter of the late Hazel and Roxie (Russell) Hammel.

Phyllis graduated from Morocco High School. On April 18, 1948 she married Robert Brees. He preceded her in death December 15, 2004. Phyllis worked many years at the Dormeyer factory in Kentland. She was a very active member of the Covenant Federated Church of Kentland.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Pat Simonin, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
