Regina Rae Liebo

Regina Rae “Jeannie” Liebo, 70, of Rensselaer, passed away at her home. She was born in Rensselaer on Jan. 28, 1951, the daughter of Charles D. and Dora Mae (Schultz) James. On March 15, 1969 she married Charles M. “Charlie” Liebo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 2012.

Jeannie was a homemaker. She was a big NASCAR fan and loved being outdoors, riding her bike around town with her beloved dog, Angel, in the basket. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family and she had a nickname for almost everyone.

She is survived by three sisters: Connie (Dave) Wilkerson, Cheryl (Matthew) Wright, and Jane Hullings, all of Rensselaer; and her sister-in-law, Pat James of Morocco. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charlie; two brothers, Paul James and Rex James; two sisters, Linda Fleming and Rita Joyce Chandler; and one sister-in-law, Margaret James.

Graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Williams officiating. Steinke Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.SteinkeFuneralHome.com.
