Richard Williams

Richard Devon Williams, age 86 of Rensselaer, passed away July 24, 2009 at Jasper County Hospital. He was born February 14, 1923 in Kentland, Indiana the son of the late Bruce and Mary (Fitzgerald) Williams. He was educated in the Kentland Public Schools. His first 40 years, he lived in Kentland, Earl Park and the Fowler area, moving to the Rensselaer area in 1963. He was a heavy equipment operator for several years and had worked for Mattocks for several years retiring in the early 1980's. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He attended the First Christian Church of Kentland and was a member of the American Legion Post of Kentland. He was married to Kathleen Matthews. Richard chose to be cremated.
