Robert Bartlett

Robert I. "Bart" Bartlett, age 58 of rural Rensselaer passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Lafayette St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana on December 4, 1950 a son of the late Irving Gayle and Ruth E. (Correll) Bartlett. He had been a resident of the Rensselaer area since 1977, previously living in Lafayette and Monticello, Indiana. He was a 1969 graduate of West High School in Lafayette. On May 26, 1978, in Rensselaer, he married Judith Ann (Davenport). She survives. For the past year he was employed in maintenance at Smith Transport of Remington. He was a member of Burr Oak Mennonite Church. "Bart" as he was affectionately known by family and friends was an avid fisherman. He was also an active volunteer at the Feast of the Hunter's Moon in Lafayette since it's conception. He thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this celebration. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, March 21st at Burr Oak Church
