Ronald E. Anderson

Ronald E. Anderson, 61, of Morocco, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana January 3, 1960, son of Gerald Anderson and Geraldine (Tichacek) Anderson. He was a 1978 graduate of North Newton High School.

Ron resided for over 35 years in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he worked as a master carpenter building million-dollar homes. It was there that he met and married his wife, Diana. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Andrew Coffer. After his parents passed away, Ron moved back to Morocco and worked as the custodian for Morocco Elementary School.

He is survived by his brother, Fred (Donna) Anderson of Lake Village, Indiana, and his sister, Brenda (Willie) Coffer of Morocco, Indiana. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Patrick Gutwein officiating.
