Sarah Jeanette Hall

Sarah “Jeanette” Hall, 99, of Morocco, IN passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born in Spencer, IN on April 4, 1924 to James Kenneth and Flossie Lovella (Hauser) Starnes.

On June 21, 1944 she married Floyd Henry Hall. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1994. Jeanette was a member of the Morocco American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

She is survived by one daughter, Gladys Hall of Morocco, IN; one daughter-in-law, Gerri Dawson of Camdenton, MO; one brother, Jimmy Starnes of Palm Bay, FL; and seven grandchildren: Kenny (Linda) Gordon, Kevin (Sandy) Hall, and Kyle Hall, all of Camdenton, MO, Kellie (Tim) Lannon of Saunemin, IL, Susie Hall of Hudson, FL, Billy (Shari) Hall of Brownsburg, IN, and Brandon Hall of Deltona, FL. Eleven great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three sons: Kenny, Chuck and Donnie.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral at 12 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. Pastor Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Goodland Cemetery.
